Creatures of habit, President Obama and his family will spend their summer vacation like they have almost every year since he was elected president eight years ago - on Martha's Vineyard.
U.S. Coast Guard Capt. Timothy Tobiasz revealed Monday night that the Obama family would be returning to the tony island off the coast of Massachusetts' Cape Cod for their summer vacation.
This time, the president is expected to stay up to three weeks on the Vineyard, Capt. Tobiasz said.
Capt Tobiasz made the announcement during a meeting between the Joint Base Cape Cod commanders and the community Board of Selectman.

The Coast Guard will be providing support and security during the president's stay.
This will be the seventh time that the president has chosen to spend his summer vacation on the Vineyard. The only time he skipped was in 2012.
According to the Cape Cod Times, the Obama family typically 'lie low' while visiting Martha's Vineyard, only taking a few jaunts from their rented vacation home to visit local businesses or take in the nature.

The 8,100-square-foot home features seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a basketball/tennis court, hot tub, infinity pool and views of the Elizabeth Islands.

President Obama spends most of his time on the island's golf courses, his favored past time. Last year, he hit the links with the likes of former President Bill Clinton and comedian Larry David.
A round of golf on the island ranges in price from $170 at the Farm Neck course to just $35 dollars at Mini Meadows.
Last year, the Boston Herald reported that the Obamas booked a manicurist to visit them three times a week during their vacation.
The Obamas have been known to haunt local eateries like State Road in West Tisbury, The Sweet Life Cafe in Oak Bluffs and Beach Plum Inn in Menemsha.
The White House has not yet confirmed the president's vacation plans.
